JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 15 (Bernama) -- Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today reminded the party leadership to continue working hard and to strengthen teamwork in advancing the party’s struggle.
“Work hard… work hard as one team,” the Prime Minister said when met by reporters after attending a meeting with about 1,000 PKR members here today.
He was asked about the address delivered earlier to Johor PKR leaders in carrying out their respective responsibilities.
Also present at the event were PKR Wanita chief Fadhlina Sidek, Johor PKR chairman Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa and state party secretary Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar.
Meanwhile, when asked to comment on the dismissal of Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin as Bersatu deputy president, Anwar said he did not wish to interfere in the matter.
On Friday, Hamzah was expelled from Bersatu with immediate effect for violating Clause 9.1.4 of the Bersatu Constitution, following a decision by the party’s Disciplinary Board in accordance with Clause 22.5 of the same constitution.
