AFFIN GROUP DISTRIBUTES 350 IFTAR FOOD PACKS TO BERNAMA STAFF

KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- Affin Group today distributed 350 iftar food packs to the staff of the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) at Wisma Bernama.

Affin Islamic Bank Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Syed Mashafuddin Syed Badarudin said this is the third year the group has conducted the initiative to support Bernama staff during Ramadan.

“This food pack distribution for Bernama staff is a token of appreciation for Bernama’s support in covering and sharing developments in Malaysia’s financial sector,” he told reporters today.

Also present to hand out the Iftar food packs were Bernama CEO Datin Paduka Nur‑ul Afida Kamaludin and Economic News Service deputy editor Harlina Samson.

Commenting on Affin’s programmes for Ramadan and Syawal this year, Syed Mashafuddin said the bank is collaborating with well‑known clothing brand Bulan Bintang on the ‘Affin Dreambox & Duit Raya Affin’ campaign.

He said the campaign provides Bulan Bintang shoppers a chance to win prizes totalling RM400,000, while RM250,000 in Duit Raya from Affin will benefit more than 3,500 Affin and Bulan Bintang customers.

In addition to the prize opportunities, Affin customers also enjoy a 10 per cent discount on purchases at Bulan Bintang outlets nationwide when using Affin cards, valid until March 18, 2026.

Syed Mashafuddin said the collaboration not only meets current consumer needs but also reflects Affin’s commitment to providing practical, accessible, and affordable financial solutions, particularly to help people prepare for Hari Raya.

“In addition, Affin offers financing facilities to meet a variety of financial needs, including Personal Loans/-i, Easy Payment Plans through Affin credit cards, AFFIN Home Reno/-i financing, and AFFIN Vehicle Financing/-i.
