KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 (Bernama) -- FGV Holdings Berhad (FGV), through its flagship consumer brand SAJI, has launched a festive music video titled ‘SAJI Menyala Lagi Raya’ to enliven this year’s Aidilfitri celebrations with a message of togetherness among families and loved ones.
FGV Head of Consumer Products Division Aznur Kama Azmir said the launch marks the highlight of the SAJI Menyala Lagi Raya campaign held in conjunction with Ramadan and Syawal this year.
“It has become our yearly tradition to produce a SAJI festive work, either in the form of a comedy short film or a music video.
“It is not merely entertainment, but also conveys the values of family unity and the joy of Aidilfitri,” she said at the music video launch, officiated by Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek here last night.
Aznur Kama said the music video conveys the theme of an enduring festive spirit, while highlighting how Ramadan is a moment that brings families together and revives traditions leading up to Syawal.
The three-minute music video features well-known Malaysian actors and singers, including Datuk Awie, Vanidah Imran, Nadia Aqilah and Anas Rizuan in leading roles, with special appearances by Bront Palarae, Sara Ali, Amerul Affendi and Ahmad Merrah.
The public can watch ‘SAJI Menyala Lagi Raya’ on SAJI’s official social media platforms (@sajimalaysia) on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
Aznur Kama, who is also officer-in-charge of Delima Oil Products Sdn Bhd, said this year’s campaign also features several initiatives, including the introduction of SAJI’s official mascot, ‘Kak Ji’, as a culinary companion for Malaysians.
“Kak Ji is introduced as a friendly and relatable culinary companion, and SAJI has also launched two new products, namely Tepung Goreng Rangup and Pelengkap Rasa seasoning powder,” she said.
She noted that the campaign also includes the SAJI Seikhlas Hati corporate social responsibility programme, as well as the SAJI Beli & Menang contest offering prizes worth up to RM50,000, including a grand prize of an umrah package and a holiday package sponsored by Felda Travel.
Product sampling activities are also being held at selected supermarkets nationwide, allowing consumers to experience the quality of dishes prepared using SAJI products.
According to Aznur Kama, the initiative reflects FGV’s continued commitment to engaging with the community while supporting the national food security agenda by providing quality, nutritious and affordable products.
