KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 (Bernama) -- Top junior golfers from 16 countries are set to compete at the second edition of the U.S. Kids Golf Malaysian International Championships 2025, which will be held at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club from April 9 to 11.
The tournament, organised by SportExcel with the support of various sponsors, will serve as a platform for Malaysia’s top young talents to sharpen their competitive edge against international opponents while vying for a place in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships in July.
SportExcel executive director C. Sivanandan said the event provides a vital opportunity for Malaysian juniors to showcase their potential and gain exposure at the international level.
“SportExcel sees the U.S. Kids Golf tournament as a platform to grow and develop grassroots players as young as five.
“At the same time, the better elite players can use this platform to qualify and play in international championships in other parts of the world,” he said in a statement today.
