KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- National squash ace S. Sivasangari’s run at the Qatar Classic 2025 ended in the quarter-finals after losing to second seed Hania El Hammamy of Egypt tonight.
The seventh seed went down 0-3 (7-11, 8-11, 6-11) at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha.
It was El Hammamy’s sixth win in eight meetings against Sivasangari.
Another national representative, Aira Azman will take on fourth seed Amina Orfi of Egypt later tonight in her bid to reach the semi-finals.
The Professional Squash Association (PSA) platinum-tier event offers a total prize pool of US$231,500 (about RM976,000) each for the men’s and women’s category.
