KOTA BHARU, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Kelantan The Real Warriors (KTRW) clinched full points at home after edging out Melaka FC 2-1 in a Super League match at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here today.
It was the East Coast side’s third victory after seven matches in this season’s Super League campaign.
KTRW took the lead in the 36th minute when Melaka FC’s import player, Michael Ozor, deflected a cross from Muhammad Syahir into his own net.
The home side doubled their advantage in the 88th minute through a long-range strike by substitute Muhammad Danial Haqim.
There was some late drama as Melaka FC reduced the deficit through Juan Silva who successfully converted a penalty during injury time, but KTRW held on to seal the win.
