KELANTAN TRW TO FOCUS ON DISCIPLINE, CONSISTENCY TO STRENGTHEN SUPER LEAGUE POSITION

31/10/2025 06:33 PM

KOTA BHARU, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) will focus on maintaining consistency and discipline to strengthen their performance in the Super League, says assistant head coach Akmal Rizal Rakhli.

He said the team were determined to continue improving as they prepared to face Kuala Lumpur City at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium tomorrow night.

“My players played well in the previous match, but when facing Kuala Lumpur City, they must not make mistakes that help the opponents score. In the last two matches, we conceded penalties due to such errors, and this is something we must avoid tomorrow night,” he told Bernama today.

Akmal said the team were now focusing fully on their league campaign after missing out on a place in the FA Cup semi-finals against Sabah FC.

“We are focusing on our Super League matches to place the team in the best possible position in the standings. The season is still long, so we must continue improving from one match to another,” he said.

He added that discipline, teamwork and full concentration throughout the match would be crucial for the players to create scoring chances and challenge Kuala Lumpur City.

Kelantan TRW currently stand sixth in the Super League with 11 points from three wins, two draws and three defeats.
