LUQMAN HAKIM BRACE POWERS NEGERI SEMBILAN PAST KELANTAN TRW

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 (Bernama) -- Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) striker Luqman Hakim Shamsudin scored a brace in the 2-0 Super League match win over Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) FC at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi, tonight.

Both teams started brightly, trading attacks, before Luqman Hakim struck the opening goal to put NSFC ahead in the 36th minute.

Luqman Hakim then capitalised on a mistake by Kelantan TRW goalkeeper Muhammad Azfar Arif Mohd Sukri, who failed to control the ball cleanly outside the penalty area in the 49th minute, to seal the game.

In MELAKA, hosts Melaka FC failed to take home advantage as they went down 0-2 to Imigresen FC at the Hang Jebat Stadium.

The visitors took the lead through Eduardo Jose Sosa Vegas in the 24th minute after pouncing on a rebound from a Joao Pedro Boeira Duarte effort that was not cleanly handled by Melaka FC goalkeeper Muhammad Haziq Aiman Mohd Esa.

Joao Pedro continued to display his attacking threat when he netted the second goal in the 30th minute to give the visitors a comfortable 2-0 lead before the break.

Melaka FC attempted a comeback with several attacking moves in the second half, but could not find the back of the net.

Meanwhile in KUALA LUMPUR, KL City FC shared the spoils with Kuching City after a 1-1 draw at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium.

The visitors opened the scoring through Ronald Ngah Wanja in the 31st minute before the City Boys equalised in first-half injury time through Safawi Rasid.
