KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 (Bernama) -- Russian Ambassador to Malaysia Naiyl Latypov and Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) chairman Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai discussed opportunities to further strengthen media cooperation between the two countries.
According to a post on its Facebook page, the Embassy stated that the matter was raised during Wong's courtesy visit to Latypov on Wednesday.
“The issues of interaction in the media sphere, coverage of bilateral events, as well as the possibility of journalistic exchanges and prospects for cooperation in 2025 were discussed,” it said.
In 2024, Bernama was among the international media outlets invited to cover the Russia-Islamic World KazanForum 2024: International Economic Forum of Russia and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Countries, held in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia.
