1. GARUDA PASSENGER CAUGHT VAPING IN BUSINESS CLASS, TRIGGERS PUBLIC OUTCRY -- JAKARTA GLOBE

A business class passenger aboard a Garuda Indonesia flight from Jakarta to Medan was caught vaping in the cabin, sparking public outrage after a video of the incident went viral online. Garuda Indonesia chief executive officer Wamildan Tsani confirmed the incident occurred during a flight on Thursday and said the airline has taken firm action.

State Administration Council Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing briefed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday in a telephone conversation on the country’s situation after the earthquake tragedy on Friday. A 7.7 magnitude earthquake devastated parts of the country and killed over 1,000 people.
