SINGAPORE, Feb 15 (Bernama) -- A total of 1,095 general practitioner (GP) clinics in Singapore will remain open at various times during the Chinese New Year public holidays from February 16 to 18, 2026, said the Health Ministry (MOH).
The public has been advised to seek treatment at a hospital’s accident and emergency department only for serious or life-threatening conditions such as chest pain, breathlessness, or uncontrollable bleeding, stated the ministry.
"We advise the public to make an appointment or call the clinic before heading down."
"Members of the public, including children who feel unwell during the festive period, are encouraged to visit a GP or a 24-hour clinic for minor conditions," it said in a statement on Sunday.
According to MOH, those who require medical care during the holidays can visit the GPGoWhere website (go.gov.sg/gpgowhere), which provides a list of clinics and their opening hours within the proximity of an address or postal code.
