1.INDONESIA TO ENFORCE CHILD ONLINE SAFETY RULE IN MARCH 2026 -- ANTARA

Indonesia will enforce a sweeping regulation to protect children online starting in March 2026, Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid said on Friday, urging digital platforms to prepare for full compliance.  

 

2.INDONESIA TO SEND GAZA PEACEKEEPERS IN PHASES, FOREIGN MINISTRY SAYS-- ANTARA

Indonesia will deploy thousands of peacekeepers to Gaza in phases as part of the International Stabilization Force (ISF), with final operational details still being prepared, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Friday.

1.IMPROVING PORT SERVICES TO BOOST MARITIME TRADE -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR 

The Myanma Port Authority is improving port services as the number of container vessels arriving at the port is increasing. About 59 container vessels are scheduled to arrive at the Yangon Port in March.

 

2.DIGITAL LOANS FOR SMALL BUSINESS -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR 

The Central Bank of Myanmar will offer loans based on digital transaction records of micro, small and medium enterprises, replacing collateral-modelled lending. The move will promote a cashless society.

1.FULL ALERT: FILIPINOS IN MIDDLE EAST TOLD TO LIMIT MOVEMENT -- PHILIPPINE NEWS AGENCY

The Philippine Embassies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Jordan told Filipinos in their jurisdictions to limit movement as Iran bombards several United States bases in the Middle East in retaliation to a joint Israeli-US military operation on Saturday.

 

2.PH EXPORTS POST 7.9% GROWTH TO $7.1-B IN JANUARY -- PHILIPPINE NEWS AGENCY            

Philippine exports in January rose by 7.9 percent to USD7.1 billion from USD6.6 billion posted in the same month last year, reflecting a 13-month growth momentum.

Singapore "regrets the failure of negotiations" that led to US and Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory attacks by Tehran on Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Saturday.
