ANKARA, March 4 (Bernama-RIA Novosti) -- Türkiye intends to contribute to the restoration of the ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
Erdogan spoke with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif by phone. During the conversation, the leaders discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues.
"Condemning the terror attacks carried out in Pakistan, President Erdoğan said Türkiye will continue to stand by Pakistan in its anti-terror fight, and that it will contribute to the re-establishment of the ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan, reached through Türkiye’s initiatives as well," the Turkish leader's office said on the social media platform X.
