KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- The official travel advisory issued by the Foreign Ministry of Malaysia dated March 1, involving seven Middle Eastern countries affected by military activities in parts of the region, remains in force until further notice.
The seven countries are Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The ministry continues to update its records of Malaysians in the affected region through the e-Konsular system.
Malaysians who have not registered their presence with the e-Konsular are encouraged to do so at https://ekonsular.kln.gov.my.

The ministry's Operations Room in Putrajaya remains fully activated on a 24-hour basis.
The United States (US) and Israel on Saturday (Feb 28) began hitting sites across Iran, including in the capital Tehran.
In retaliation for the joint US-Israeli strike, the Iranian military launched attacks on four US military sites in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE.
