ISTANBUL, March 13 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- Saudi Arabia said Friday that its air defences intercepted and destroyed 28 drones across the Kingdom, Anadolu Ajansi reported, citing statements by the Defence Ministry’s official spokesman.
The ministry said 12, nine and seven drones were shot down in separate incidents.
No other details were immediately available about the launch locations or intended targets. Earlier Thursday, the Defence Ministry said Saudi air defences shot down 53 drones and destroyed five ballistic missiles within the previous 24 hours.
