KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Management and technology consultancy BearingPoint reported a record 1.069 billion euros in revenue for 2024, marking its fourth consecutive year of growth. (1 Euro = RM4.62)
Its Managing Partner, Matthias Loebich praised 2024 as a successful year, noting that the firm not only achieved the one billion euro revenue milestone but also surpassed market expectations.
“We welcomed new talent, grew our client base, and pushed forward in key areas like data analytics and AI, sustainability, and cybersecurity,” he said in a statement.
Key accomplishments for 2024 include expanding client relationships, with more than 300 new clients added and over 2,000 projects successfully delivered across 31 countries. BearingPoint’s ability to tailor solutions to client needs has reinforced its reputation as a trusted partner for businesses navigating transformation and growth.
The firm also made significant investments in talent, hiring over 1,200 new colleagues and promoting 1,400 employees, in addition to appointing 25 new Partners. Female representation in senior leadership roles was at 21 per cent, and the percentage of female hires increased to 44 per cent globally. More than 1,800 professionals participated in training programmes to foster continuous development.
Innovation remained a key focus, with the integration of United States (US)-based Enterprise Consulting strengthening the Arcwide joint venture and enhancing consulting capabilities.
At the same time, BearingPoint also made notable progress in artificial intelligence (AI), launching initiatives to help clients automate workflows, optimise decisions, and enhance customer interactions.
In its Products business, the firm also introduced AI-powered solutions such as DemandSens and Persona Engine, offering advanced tools for sales forecasting and customer engagement.
A major milestone for BearingPoint in 2024 was achieving B Corp certification, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
Looking ahead, BearingPoint plans to continue its strong growth trajectory, investing in data analytics, AI, and cybersecurity, while expanding its global presence, including the US. In the first half of 2025, the company will unveil its Strategy 2030, which will focus on client orientation, global expansion, and empowering its people.
