CPO Output Down 5.30 Pct, Palm Oil Exports Fall 28.13 Pct In November -- MPOB

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s crude palm oil (CPO) production slid 5.30 per cent month-on-month (m-o-m) to 1.94 million tonnes in November 2025 from 2.04 million tonnes in October 2025, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).

Palm oil exports went down 28.13 per cent to 1.21 million tonnes from 1.69 million tonnes in the preceding month, MPOB said in its Performance of the Malaysian Palm Oil Industry, November 2025 report.

Palm kernel output slipped 7.43 per cent m-o-m to 442,266 tonnes from October.

Crude palm kernel oil production dropped 1.35 per cent to 207,679 tonnes, while palm kernel cake output shrank 1.92 per cent to 225,357 tonnes.

CPO inventories climbed 17.56 per cent to 1.74 million tonnes in November from a month earlier, while processed palm oil stocks strengthened 6.50 per cent to 1.09 million tonnes.

“This brought total palm oil inventories higher by 13.04 per cent to 2.83 million tonnes in November from 2.51 million tonnes in October,” MPOB said.

Palm kernel oil exports shed 13.20 per cent to 87,287 tonnes, while palm kernel cake exports gained 5.02 per cent m-o-m to 228,080 tonnes.

Oleochemical exports dwindled 20.13 per cent m-o-m to 203,325 tonnes, but biodiesel exports jumped 104.79 per cent to 47,059 tonnes.

“CPO imports in November were nil while total palm kernel oil imports declined 61.30 per cent m-o-m to 3,365 tonnes from 8,695 tonnes in October,” it added.
