FORM FOUR STUDENT STABBED TO DEATH IN PETALING JAYA

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- A Form Four female student was believed to have been stabbed to death by a male schoolmate in an incident at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya this morning.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Ismail said the incident occurred at about 9.30 am within the school compound, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

He said the 14-year-old suspect, a Form Two student from the same school, was arrested shortly after the incident.

“The motive for the incident is still under investigation, and further details will be provided by the Selangor police chief in due course,” he told reporters after officiating the Anti-Bullying Campaign here today.

Earlier, the media reported that a female student at a school in Petaling Jaya had died, allegedly after being stabbed by another student this morning.
