PUTRAJAYA, Sept 25 (Bernama) -- The Home Ministry’s (KDN) MADANI Akrab Tour Convoy, which entered its fourth edition, moved today to Kampung Pulau Aman in Seberang Perai Selatan, Penang for a three-day programme in the village.
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said in a statement today that the convoy was flagged off by its director-general, Maritime Rear Admiral Datuk Mohd Rosli Abdullah, at the MMEA headquarters here, when officiating the 'Aspirasi Budaya Kerja Siri 4: Kembara Akrab MADANI KDN' programme.
According to the statement, the three-day tour programme targets residents around the village to empower human capital through a psychological approach as well as to create a bond of cooperation between civil servants and the local community.
The statement also said that the community in the area will be exposed to a number of programmes, including a security briefing from police, a 'ceramah perdana’ on Jiwa Merdeka, talks on religion and integrity in service as well as gotong-royong activities with the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK).
The tour programme is organised by the KDN, with the cooperation of its departments as well as agencies under its purview.
