KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) -- The MADANI sale programme, in conjunction with the Two Years of the MADANI Government (2TM) event last week raked in over RM670,000 in total sales and RM50 million in potential sales and financing, said Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP).
In a statement today, it said that the total sales of over RM380,000 came from the MADANI Entrepreneurs Sale, which involved 85 entrepreneurs.
It added that the MADANI Cheap Sale, involving six participants, recorded nearly RM290,000 in sales.
"During the three-day 2TM (Nov 22-24), the Padan Niaga (business matching), which involved 10 anchor companies and financing for entrepreneurs by 18 financial institutions, recorded potential sales and financing of over RM50 million," it said.
According to KUSKOP, the sales value of the 2TM MADANI Sale exceeded the MADANI Mega Sale total sales held in conjunction with the Unity Government's One Year Anniversary from Dec 8 to 10 last year, which recorded RM645,000 in sales and potential business matching of over RM3 million.
KUSKOP led the 2TM sales committee in collaboration with the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry and the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry.
