SAMA-SAMA BERSERI-AJI® PPR EVENT PROMOTES WHOLESOME SAHUR, RECEIVES OVERWHELMING RESPONSE

KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 (Bernama) -- The ‘Sama-Sama BerSeri-Aji® PPR Event’, organised by Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB), received an enthusiastic response from residents of the Seri Semarak and Kerinchi People’s Housing Project (PPR), fostering community spirit while promoting a wholesome and nutritious sahur or the pre-dawn meal during Ramadan.

In a statement, AMB said the event, attended by more than 300 residents, featured various activities, including food tasting sessions, a live cooking demonstration by Chef Nur Farihin, fun cooking activities, and a lucky draw.

“Attendees also received exclusive gift bags, while children enjoyed interactive games and sand art sessions. AMB also distributed up to 15,000 gift sets to residents of 10 other PPR communities, ensuring more families could benefit from the campaign,” it said.

Recognising the importance of sahur in sustaining energy throughout the fasting day, AMB also launched the ‘Bersahur Bersama Seri-Aji®: Sahur Seribu Kebaikan’ Buy & Win contest, offering a total prize pool of RM20,000.

“Through this initiative, Seri-Aji® is donating RM1 to Tabung Amal for every contest entry, further supporting those in need while encouraging a hassle-free sahur experience.

“We are also collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to share easy recipe ideas, where every video share contributes to the cause,” it said.

The campaign also engages communities through on-ground activities at PPR locations, MT roadshows, and TT roadshows.

Consumers can participate in the Buy & Win contest by purchasing Seri-Aji® products worth RM8 or more in a single receipt and submitting their receipt photo via WhatsApp to +6016-3630118 or through the online form at smartcooking.com.my.

“Exciting prizes await, including three grand prizes of a 5-gram gold bar each and weekly rewards of RM50 in Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits for 16 winners over 10 weeks,” the statement added.
