“Of the 865 projects worth RM49.67 billion currently under construction, 841 are supervised by JKR Malaysia, while 24 projects involving underprivileged schools fall under the supervision of JKR Sabah and JKR Sarawak,” he said during an official visit to the Alor Ganu/Titi Gajah road and bridge construction project here today.
He said that 383 projects valued at RM16.36 billion have been completed and are currently under the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Ahmad also said the federal government continues to show commitment to development in Kedah, with 143 projects worth RM6.6 billion currently being implemented or planned under JKR supervision.
Of these, 60 projects valued at RM3.1 billion are under construction, while 83 projects worth RM3.5 billion are in the planning phase.
“I informed the Kedah state secretary this morning about the MADANI government’s commitment to Kedah, even though our political views are not aligned,” he said.
