PUTRAJAYA, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Education (MOE) has advised Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025 candidates who are affected by natural disasters to immediately notify their school or the State Education Department (JPN).
In a statement issued today, MOE said candidates can also contact the operation rooms of the Examination Board or JPNs nationwide.
The ministry said it is attentive to the safety and welfare of candidates and examination personnel in the face of any potential natural disasters, particularly floods, ahead of the major examinations.
Therefore, MOE is continuously cooperating with the National Disaster Management Agency, Meteorological Department, Ministry of Health, Royal Malaysia Police, Malaysian Armed Forces, Fire and Rescue Department, Department of Civil Defence, and other related agencies to ensure the smooth management and administration of this year’s SPM examinations.
"MOE is always on standby and committed to the necessary preparatory measures and standard operating procedures to ensure the SPM 2025 examinations proceed in an orderly manner.
"The Ministry also prays that all candidates can sit for their examinations in safe conditions," the statement read.
