KUANTAN, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah departed for Sarawak today for a four-day official visit.
Their Royal Highnesses were accompanied by their son Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah and his wife Tengku Natasya Puteri Tengku Adnan.
According to a post on the official Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page, Their Royal Highnesses were received upon arrival at Kuching International Airport (LTAK) at about 12 pm by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak, Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar; Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail; and Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
Several programmes have been arranged for Their Royal Highnesses during the visit, including a state banquet, visits to key institutions and major attractions in the state, as well as the closing ceremony of the 2025 Sarawak Regatta and the 2025 Borneo Craft Festival.
“The royal visit, scheduled to continue until Monday, is expected to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the state governments of Pahang and Sarawak,” said the post.
