JASIN, Dec 29 (Bernama) -- A total of 34 people from eight families have been evacuated to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Parit Penghulu here tonight due to floods.
The Melaka state disaster management committee secretariat said that Kampung Parit Perawas Benteng and Kampung Tasek Benteng have been hit by floods due to spillover from Sungai Rambai.
“The relief centre was opened at 3.45 m after both villages were flooded,” the committee said in a statement today.
