SPM LEAVERS INVITED TO JPA BOOTH AT PMR 2026 IN IPOH

IPOH, April 1 (Bernama) -- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers are invited to visit the Public Service Department (JPA) booth at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru Raya, here during the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2026 from April 3 to 5.

JPA, in a Facebook post, said the booth will provide information on its education sponsorships for students wishing to pursue further studies.

“To all SPM leavers who have completed your examinations, congratulations. We invite you to visit the JPA booth at PMR 2026 Perak and bring your parents along to obtain information on JPA sponsorships. You may just be in luck to secure one,” the post read.

The booth will also offer services including advisory on public service matters, pension and retirement, as well as psychological wellbeing assessments.

PMR 2026, with Perak as its first location this year, aims to deliver government services and people-centric initiatives directly to the public, led by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.

Throughout the three-day programme, PMR 2026 Perak will feature a range of activities, including government and healthcare services, public wellbeing initiatives, as well as Jualan Rahmah MADANI and Jualan Agro MADANI.

Other highlights include job opportunities, food festivals, local entrepreneur sales, a helmet exchange programme, free motorcycle engine oil changes, free haircuts, distribution of seeds and saplings, defence and security asset exhibitions, and family-friendly activities.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to officiate the event on April 4.
