RKB: MPC TO ENHANCE FEEDBACK MECHANISMS, PRIORITISE PROBLEM-DRIVEN SOLUTIONS

06/12/2025 05:05 PM

PUTRAJAYA, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) will implement two improvement measures next year to strengthen the Bureaucratic Red Tape Reform (RKB), namely enhancing public and industry feedback mechanisms and prioritising problem-driven solutions.

MPC director-general Datuk Zahid Ismail said feedback from the public and businesses would serve as the main reference in formulating more effective solutions, in line with efforts to move beyond a purely technology-driven model.

“This new approach will be more focused. We will work closely with industry associations, including through engagements with specific sectors such as retail at the state and federal levels, to identify the actual ‘pain points’ they face.

“We will also carry out proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of technology solutions before wider rollout, to ensure issues are resolved more systematically,” he told Bernama here today.

He said this after speaking as a panellist at the Bureaucratic Red Tape Forum: Performance Analysis and Continuous Improvement, held in conjunction with the National Public Service Reform Convention 2025, under the Rancakkan MADANI programme.

Zahid said the RKB had recorded exponential growth over the past two years, with more than 1,000 projects implemented to date.

“Despite these encouraging achievements, we cannot be in a comfort zone. The principle of islah, or continuous improvement, must continue,” he said.

The three-day Rancakkan MADANI programme, which began yesterday, offers more than 300 touchpoint services, a career fair, interactive exhibitions, family entertainment and various special promotions.

Organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), the national-level programme targets around 300,000 visitors.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the closing ceremony at 11 am tomorrow.

Rancakkan MADANI is a continuation of the One Year with the MADANI Government and Two Years of MADANI Government programmes, which have become the government’s annual platform to report its achievements directly to the people.
