KUANTAN, March 1 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah conveyed their congratulations and best wishes to members and veterans of the Malaysian Army on its 93rd Army Day,
Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah extended their highest appreciation to all officers and members currently serving, whether within the country or abroad, for their loyalty and resilience in shouldering a great responsibility.
The sacrifices made, whether on the battlefield or in carrying out humanitarian aid and disaster management missions, reflect an unwavering commitment to ensuring that the peace and well-being of the people are always preserved.
"The contributions of the retired veterans, whose sacrifices and contributions remain etched in the annals of the nation's defence history, are also not forgotten,” said their Majesties in a post on the Pahang Sultanate's Facebook page today.
The Sultan and Tengku Ampuan also expressed their hopes that this celebration would serve as a catalyst for all members of the Malaysian Army to continue strengthening their readiness, enhancing their capabilities, and maintaining excellence in every assignment.
Their Majesties also pray that all members are always protected, granted good health and strength in carrying out their duties for the sovereignty and prosperity of beloved Malaysia.
