PM ANWAR ATTENDS IHYA' RAMADAN PROGRAMME AT KPKT

PUTRAJAYA, March 3 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today attended the Ihya’ Ramadan programme hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT).

He arrived at the ministry at 12.30 pm and was welcomed by Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming.

Nga said in a statement that the Prime Minister chaired the KPKT top management meeting and was briefed on K.H.A.S (Keutamaan Insan, Hasil Pantas, Anjakan Berimpak Tinggi, Sistematik).

K.H.A.S is the ministry’s policy implementation framework that prioritises the needs of the people, accelerates service delivery, implements high-impact structural reforms and ensures transparent and systematic governance.

“K.H.A.S is how KPKT translates the spirit of Malaysia MADANI into daily action, namely placing the people first, expediting results, amplifying impact and streamlining implementation.

“Through this framework, KPKT is committed to implementing reforms that will deliver direct benefits to the people,” he said.

The Prime Minister, together with the ministry’s top management and staff, also listened to a religious talk titled ‘Ramadan Membina Perpaduan dan Kasih Sayang’, delivered by Muhd Haris Mohd Ismail, better known as Pencetus Ummah (PU) Haris.

“KPKT records its highest appreciation and gratitude to the Prime Minister for taking the time to attend and meet 400 KPKT staff.

“The programme held at KPKT is among the ministry’s key initiatives to enliven the month of Ramadan through spiritual activities that strengthen understanding and appreciation of worship throughout the holy month,” the statement said.
