PKR'S 26TH ANNIVERSARY: RAMANAN, ZALIHA PRAISE PARTY’S UNITY AND RESILIENCE

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) -- PKR is always united in empowering the voice of reform within the country's political landscape, said PKR deputy information chief 1 Datuk Seri R. Ramanan.

In a message in conjunction with PKR’s 26th anniversary today, the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives said the party has gone through various ups and downs in its political struggle.

Describing it as a profound journey and struggle, he said PKR members stand together as a team to build the party under the leadership of its president, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“This 26-year spirit of struggle has empowered and strengthened our party -- allowing us to reach Putrajaya,” said the Sungai Buloh MP in a Facebook post. 

Congratulating all party members for their unwavering support through good times and bad, he said PKR would continue moving forward for the people, justice and Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) and PKR Election Committee chairman Dr Zaliha Mustafa said all party members and supporters are the lifeblood of PKR’s struggle.

“Your ideals are the roots that grip the soil of this struggle, ensuring it does not falter in the face of adversity,” she said in a Facebook post.

Reflecting on PKR’s 26-year journey, she said the party’s struggle was born from the cries of the people demanding justice, driven by an unwavering spirit.

“Justice does not come easily -- it is built on the sweat and tears of a generation that rose against injustice.

“May PKR remain a house of hope for the people, and may the MADANI government continue to reflect the conscience of a nation striving to rise,” she said.
