KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 (Bernama) -- The results of the PKR divisional elections have been confirmed and validated by the Central Leadership Council (MPP), according to party secretary-general Dr Fuziah Salleh.
She said the Central Leadership Council (MPP), which convened yesterday, expressed satisfaction with the presentation by the Party Election Committee and an international digital auditing firm on the election results for committee members, as well as the party’s women’s wing, Wanita PKR, and youth wing, Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK), across all 220 divisions nationwide.
“The final results of the 2025 divisional elections will be available starting May 5, 2025, at https://keputusan.keadilanrakyat.org/MPP,” she said in a statement today.
She added that yesterday’s meeting also confirmed key dates in the timeline for preparations for the 2024 and 2025 Annual Congress, which will be held from May 23 to 25 at the Persada International Convention Centre in Johor Bahru.
“This annual congress is expected to be attended by approximately 10,000 delegates who will vote in person to elect members of the MPP, while over 20,000 delegates will cast their votes online,” she said.
Fuziah said the representation system, based on the concept of proportionate representation, is expected to draw attention, as losing division candidates will also be eligible to send delegates to the congress based on the percentage of votes they received in the recent election.
“The principle that the winner does not take all, and the loser does not lose everything, will further strengthen the democratic process in the 2025 election during this congress,” she said.
She said the meeting was also informed that a nationwide pre-congress tour would be launched to ensure delegates receive accurate and comprehensive information in preparation for the congress.
The party headquarters will also provide a dedicated platform during the pre-congress tour for all MPP candidates to meet with delegates and introduce themselves directly to party members, she added.
Meanwhile, PKR Central Election Committee (JPP) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa said the review by an international auditing firm found that the e-voting system, which uses blockchain technology, demonstrated strong performance and robust security features.
“Overall, the system successfully handled voter identity verification, encrypted ballot transmission, and secure data storage.
“The data recorded on the blockchain matched the transmission logs, with no evidence of data loss or tampering. A security vulnerability scan also found no critical risks, and the access control mechanisms were deemed effective and well-organised,” she said in a separate statement.
She added that the same audit found no evidence of fraud or irregularities throughout the voting process.
In a related development, Dr Zaliha said the list of regular and additional delegates for all divisions at every level would be finalised soon and made available for checking at https://perwakilan.keadilanrakyat.org.
“The JPP would like to remind party members that nominations for central-level positions will be open online on May 8 and 9, while central-level voting will take place during the National Congress on May 24.
“Physical voting is for divisional committee-level delegates, while online voting would apply to regular and additional delegates,” she added.
