BELTONE UNVEILS ENVISION HEARING AIDS WITH ADVANCED AI TECHNOLOGY

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Beltone has introduced its latest innovation, the Beltone Envision hearing aids, designed to set a new benchmark in noise management and voice clarity.

According to a statement, these hearing aids provide superior sound quality, even in noisy environments, allowing users to clearly hear important sounds, such as a friend's voice at a crowded restaurant.

Despite the fact that only one in five people who could benefit from hearing aids actually use them, Beltone Envision aims to bridge this gap by empowering users to connect with loved ones, colleagues, and their surroundings.

These devices intelligently detect the environment, noise levels, and speech cues, automatically adjusting settings for an optimal listening experience.

The artificial intelligence (AI) inside Beltone Envision is trained to recognise and suppress thousands of unwanted noises while highlighting the sounds and voices users want to hear, ensuring a clearer and more focused listening experience. Beltone's unique approach mimics natural human behaviour by prioritising sounds based on where the user is looking, not just their volume.

Equipped with a dedicated Deep Neural Network (DNN) chip, the Beltone Envision is up to 17 times more efficient than other hearing solutions with directionality and DNN noise reduction, resulting in a significant improvement to speech understanding.

Available in the world's smallest AI hearing aid form and new streamlined receiver-in-ear (RIE) styles, this device offers a discreet, modern, and comfortable solution, with full-day battery performance. The hearing aid also supports Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio experience and is compatible with Auracast broadcast audio, providing users with access to news, entertainment, and assistive listening in public spaces.

In addition, the Beltone HearMax app now features the Auracast Assistant, simplifying the connection to Auracast broadcasts with just a tap. Alongside the Beltone Envision, the company is also launching Beltone Commence, an essential hearing aid range offering Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast compatibility, designed for individuals with mild to profound hearing loss.

The new microRIE style offers a discreet and ergonomic fit, while updated RIE designs ensure all-day comfort in various colours, including navy blue and bold red. Additionally, Beltone Envision enables seamless audio streaming from televisions and mobile devices, along with hands-free calling, enhancing convenience for users on the go.

The Beltone Envision and Beltone Commence will be available in the United States and Germany from Feb 20, with global expansion to follow.
