1. PRABOWO PLEDGES TO IMPROVE DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN FLOOD-PRONE BEKASI -- JAKARTA GLOBE

President Prabowo Subianto on Saturday ordered his aides to improve the drainage system and landscape design in Bekasi following severe flooding that devastated the area earlier this week.

 

2. SUKABUMI FLOOD: VP GIBRAN CALLS TO PRIORITISE RECOVERY, RELOCATION -- ANTARA

 Indonesia’s Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has urged to accord priority to the recovery of infrastructure and the relocation of affected residents as part of the post-flood response in Sukabumi, West Java Province.

 

MYANMAR 

1. NATIONAL ELECTIONS LATEST BY JANUARY 2026 -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

During a visit to Belarus, State Administration Council Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said elections in Myanmar could be held by December or January next year. So far, 53 political parties have registered to take part in the national elections.
