PUTRAJAYA, April 30 (Bernama) -- The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) Foreign Taxpayer Branch (CPCA) counters will officially operate at Level 9, Block 10, Government Building Complex, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kuala Lumpur starting on Friday, May 2.
In a statement today, IRB announced that the operating hours of CPCA for consultation services are from 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday while the IRB e-appointment session on Monday to Friday is from 8 am to 4.40 pm and is subject to slots made via link https://ejanjitemu.hasil.gov.my/.
According to IRB, CPCA serves as a specialised centre in handling tax matters related to files of foreign taxpayers, non-resident individuals and withholding tax starting Jan 1.
"The placement of the IRB service counter is part of an initiative to improve service efficiency and facilitate physical access for taxpayers," according to the statement.
With the operation of the counter, LHDN believes it will provide positive added value and increase satisfaction and the best experience for customers in completing tax matters.
