KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 (Bernama) -- Sunway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service will undergo changes and operate free of charge on May 3 starting from 2 pm until the end of operating hours to make way for the 'The Under Armour Infinite Race'.
Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus) as the operator of Rapid KL bus service in a statement today announced that the changes are to make way for preparatory work for the race which is scheduled to start at 7 pm along the Sunway BRT track.
"From 2 pm on May 3, the Sunway BRT service will operate free of charge with a frequency of every 15 to 20 minutes," according to the statement.
Therefore, users can get the service by waiting under each Sunway BRT station except at USJ 7 station, at SJ692 LRT USJ Bus Stop (in front of KK Mart), South Quay (SJ67 Mydin USJ Bus Stop), Mentari (PJ179 Sunway Mentari Bus Stop (West)) and Sunway Setia Jaya (Setia Jaya Bus Stop opposite KTM Setia Jaya Station).
According to the statement, information and notices will be placed at BRT stations to inform users of operational changes and to make it easier for users to plan their journeys in advance.
Sunway BRT will resume operations as usual starting at 6 am on May 4.
