PM ANWAR DEPARTS FOR KUALA LUMPUR AFTER ATTENDING AELM IN GYEONGJU

GYEONGJU (South Korea), Nov 1 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has departed for Kuala Lumpur after concluding his working visit to South Korea, where he led the Malaysian delegation to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM), which began on Friday.

The aircraft carrying Anwar departed from the Gimhae Air Base, located at Gimhae International Airport, at 3.08 pm local time (2.08 pm Malaysian time).

Malaysian Ambassador to South Korea Datuk Mohd Zamruni Khalid and Commander of the Republic of Korea Air Force’s 5th Air Wing Brigadier General Kang Geun Shin were present at the airport to send off the prime minister.
