IPOH, Nov 8 (Bernama) -- The Perak government is exploring collaboration with EdQuest International School and Rochford’s Education to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) roadmap as part of its effort to strengthen the state’s digital agenda under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 plan.
State Communications, Multimedia and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Committee chairman Mohd Azlan Helmi said the private education institutions’ expertise in AI through education and business offers potential for synergy with the state’s Digital Perak initiative.
Referencing the Momentum app by MojoNational.ai, developed with both institutions, he said the app, designed to ease learning, demonstrates the group’s digital capabilities and could align with the state’s Digital Perak AI framework.
“We see potential to synchronise this with the state’s Digital Perak AI framework and I will arrange follow-up discussions between Digital Perak and EdQuest to explore possible collaboration,” he told reporters after launching the Momentum app here today.
Mohd Azlan also urged developers of AI-based applications to come forward and explore collaboration with the state government.
“We are open and willing to assist others in advancing AI in Perak. We are creating every opportunity for these platforms to come together and move forward as one team,” he said.
