VIOMI LAUNCHES AI WATER PURIFIER INNO AIMED AT SMART WATER TECHNOLOGY FOR ALL

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 (Bernama) -- Global smart home appliance brand VIOMI launched its VIOMI AI water purifier inno, dedicated to making clean and healthy water accessible to all at an affordable price.

The Nasdaq-listed company said in a statement that the launch marked its formal entry into the Malaysian market.

VIOMI founder and chief executive officer Kevin Chen emphasised that with over 10 million units sold in China, Malaysia serves as VIOMI’s first strategic hub in Southeast Asia, and has a goal of becoming one of the top three water purifier brands in Malaysia within three to five years.

“Family health starts with a sip of clean water. Our goal is to make smart water technology accessible to all,” he said in a statement.

Designed with a sleek, minimalist 13-centimetre ultra-thin body and tankless structure, the VIOMI inno that is now available nationwide perfectly fits modern kitchens and offers DIY filter replacement and an automatic self-cleaning system, which allows users to replace filters once a year without additional servicing.

“It’s clean, simple and cost-effective,” said Chen.

He said the product also features Bamboo Charcoal and Mineral Filter that effectively removes heavy metals and harmful chemicals from water and is further enhanced by the Kunlun Ore Composite Filter technology, which mineralises the water and enriches it with natural trace elements like Strontium, an element known to support bone strength and cardiovascular health.

“The resulting water is not only pure but also boasts a clean, subtly sweet taste, making it a trusted choice for infants, expectant mothers and the whole family. 

“Looking ahead, VIOMI plans to introduce a suite of specialised filter cartridges, including ones that generate weakly alkaline water. This will empower users to tailor their "water experience" as effortlessly as updating apps on a phone,” he also said.

VIOMI inno comes with a two-year warranty, free delivery, and installation features three core systems -- Smart Sensors, Smart Control and Smart Interaction -- reflecting the brand’s vision to promote ‘bringing healthy water and smarter homes through artificial intelligence (AI) technology’.

VIOMI noted that Smart Sensors monitor real-time water quality, Smart Control offers five preset temperature modes, while Smart Interaction allows users to manage and monitor water data via a mobile app.
