PUTRAJAYA, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- The Public Sector Home Financing Board (LPPSA) and the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) today inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to integrate the Loan Management System (LMS) with the Housing Integrated Management System (HIMS).
The LPPSA said in a statement today that the integration of both systems will expedite the civil servant financing application process by providing direct access to developer information, property projects, project status and development-related information supplied to the LPPSA.
This integration is also expected to help prevent fraud by irresponsible parties through the review of expired developer licences and project permits, as well as the manipulation of property sales prices compared to those registered with the KPKT.
"This can indirectly safeguard civil servants from being cheated by irresponsible parties, while aiding in the management of risks for LPPSA and KPKT.
"The rapid development of the latest technology and the digitalisation process through this system integration will help civil servants have unhindered access to verified and up-to-date information, in addition to being able to streamline and simplify daily work and save time,” it added.
