PUTRAJAYA, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- The series of MADANI Rahmah Sales has proven to be an effective government intervention that helped Malaysians with cost of living issues.
Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the sales have been held consistently in 222 parliamentary constituencies, 600 state constituencies and 40 zones in the Federal Territories in the three years of MADANI Government’s adminstration.
“With discounts of 10 to 30 per cent lower than market prices, the MADANI Rahmah Sales continue to receive extraordinary response from the public. In 2023, 6,870 sales were held and this rose to 12,419 in 2024 and 23,030 sales as of Nov 30, 2025.
“My ministry will continue the initiative throughout 2026 and is committed to empowering its implementation so that more Malaysians will benefit from it,” he posted on Facebook today, adding that the frequency of sales was raised to a minimum of two sales a month per state constituency beginning July 2025.
A MADANI Rahmah Sales calendar has also been introduced at the ministry’s website at https://www.kpdn.gov.my/ms/jualan-rahmah for the public to obtain information on the sales locations, he added.
Armizan had earlier inspected the MADANI Rahmah Sale held in conjunction with the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme in Putrajaya that began today.
