JOHOR BAHRU, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ), in collaboration with Yayasan Sena, has donated RM300,000 for total knee replacement surgeries at Sena Specialist Hospital in Segamat for those in need.
A post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s Facebook page said the initiative will benefit 12 selected patients.
“All surgeries will be carried out entirely at Sena Specialist Hospital in Segamat, using the hospital’s medical expertise and modern facilities,” read the post.
The replica cheque was handed over by YSIJ managing trustee Datuk Avinderjit Singh, Yayasan Sena director and Sena Healthcare Services Group managing director Tan Sri Dr Tan Boon Hock and YSIJ chief executive officer Mohd Anizam Jamian to Sena Healthcare Services Group chief executive officer Michelle Tan.
YSIJ and Yayasan Sena’s first collaboration marked the opening of Sena Specialist Hospital in Segamat yesterday.
Meanwhile, Mohd Anizam described the collaboration as a positive start for the foundation in expanding healthcare support to the public.
“We hope initiatives like this can continue and serve as a catalyst for more collaborations with other foundations and corporate partners in the future,” he said.
