MOSCOW, Jan 14 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- US electronics manufacturer Apple has registered a trademark in Russia, RIA Novosti reported on Wednesday after reviewing the database of the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
The company filed an application to register the Apple trademark in Russia in November 2023, according to the documents. In January 2026, Rospatent approved the registration.
Under the trademark, Apple plans to provide educational and entertainment services, release music products, publish books and organise film distribution in the Russian market.
Founded in 1976, tech giant Apple manufactures personal and tablet computers, audio players, mobile phones, smartwatches and software.
