SABAH FLOODS: 483 PEOPLE REMAIN AT RELIEF CENTRE THIS MORNING

KOTA KINABALU, March 2 (Bernama) -- A total of 483 people from 182 families affected by floods in Sabah remained at a temporary relief centre as of 8 am today.

The Sabah State Disaster Management Committee said the number had fallen from 557 people from 172 families at 8 pm yesterday.

“All the victims, from 93 villages in Beaufort, have been placed at Dun Banir Hall temporary relief centre,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department said Sabah would be dry this morning, with thunderstorms and showers expected in some inland areas later today.
