KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 (Bernama) -- National Muay Thai champion Muhammad Johan Ghazali Zulfikar will be sharing his passion for the martial sport when he makes a special appearance at the Wilayah Pahlawan International Muay Thai Championship 2025 tomorrow.
Muhammad Johan, who goes around with his moniker ‘Jojo’, shared that he felt a huge responsibility to wise up and be disciplined after becoming a Muay Thai idol by many youths.
“I’m thankful that Muay Thai fighters view me as an idol. Now there are many more talents, just that Malaysian fighters need better and more experienced coaching,” he told reporters at a media conference at Titiwangsa Stadium here today.
Jojo will be teaming up with world Muay Thai superstar, ‘Superlek Kiatmoo9’ of Thailand at tomorrow’s seminar where both will share their knowledge and experience with attendees.
He stressed that discipline and focus were the cornerstones of an athlete’s success and while training at the initial stages looked simple, it would get more challenging as there were many disruptions that could become distractions.
He also pointed out that hard work was the formula for success and could not be discounted as one would not achieve their best performance in sports or other fields without continuous effort and high commitment.
