SEPANG, Oct 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysian rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli will be riding for MSI Racing Team and compete in the Moto3 class next season.
MSI Racing Team confirmed the development in a post on social media today, ahead of tomorrow’s Grand Prix (GP) Malaysia.
“Of course this news makes me happy and motivates me further for this weekend. I’m very excited to be part of Moto3 2026 with MSI. My dream has finally come true and I will give 100 per cent next year.
“Thank you MSI, Jordi and Oscar, my sponsors, SIC Racing, ZK Racing Youth and Sports Ministry, Terengganu Inc and all my fans who believed in my career. Thank you very much,” the 18-year-old said, thanking everyone who has helped him immensely throughout his racing career.
Hakim Danish will team up with Japanese racer Ryusei Yamanaka, as his teammate, Angel Piqueras, moves up to Moto2 class.
Hakim Danish ended this season’s Red Bull Rookies Cup in third place overall with 171 points afer the last race in Misano Circuit in September, 65 points behind overall champion, Brian Uriarte of Spain, while second place went to Indonesian Veda Pramata, with 181 points.
