KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Closed Pickleball Championships 2025, to be held in Sentul here from Dec 5-8, will offer participants the chance to collect ranking points and be crowned the best in the country.
Malaysia Pickleball Association (MPA) advisor Dr Kelvin Yii expects the inaugural championships to help them unearth players with the potential to represent the country at the international level.
“We will introduce the national ranking system at this tournament and it is important o ensure that any international competition in the future is conducted through a transparent selection system
“Through this system, the top-ranked players will be chosen to represent Malaysia at international championships,” he told a media conference here today.
He said the Malaysia Closed will feature five categories: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
Those interested can register at https://www.sportssync.asia for the junior category and https://www.swp.solemas.com for the senior category. The closing date for entries is Nov 30.
