KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Malaysians at home posted their prayers for the Malaysians in Middle East on Threads platform following the escalation of airstrikes and tensions in the region Saturday.
Threads user addyyyy in his posting reminded Malaysians to stay safe, take all necessary precautions and ‘do keep the Malaysia updated on the situation there’.
“To all Malaysians in the Middle East, please know that we back home are praying for your safety. You are in our thoughts and doa (prayer),” the user said.
Another Threads user, jmhaffiz on his posting said: “May Allah protect the Malaysians in the Middle East.”
Another user, farah_azhar said, Malaysians in the Middle East - stay safe.
“Kami doakan keselamatan anda,” she added.
Another Threads user, fakhiraali said that the flight back from Medinah to Kuala Lumpur has been cancelled due to Middle East crisis.
“Anyone who read this post, please pray for us. Hoping to go back as soon as possible,” the posting said.
User e.f.k_thurs posted, stay safe to all Malaysians in Middle East including myself.
“I hope all my colleagues that can’t go for their flight and whoever that supposed to come back to Doha but flight got diverted, will be safe wherever you are,” she said.
Earlier international media reported that Israel attacked several cities across Iran including Tehran, Isfahan and Qom. Iran retaliated by attacking United States’ interests in several countries in the Middle East.
