KANGAR, Nov 25 (Bernama) -- Several health facilities in Perlis involving health clinics and village clinics have been temporarily closed due to flooding.
Based on an announcement posted on Facebook, the Perlis State Health Department today said the affected health clinics are Kampung Gial Health Clinic (KK); Arau Health Clinic and Kangar Health Clinic.
The announcement notice by the Kangar District Health Office informed that the affected rural clinics include Titi Tinggi Village Clinic (KD); Titi Tok Bandar Health Clinic; Felda Mata Ayer Health Clinic; Padang Melangit Health Clinic; Abi Health Clinic and Bintong Health Clinic.
The location of service transfer for Kampung Gial Health Clinic and Arau Health Clinic is Beseri Health Clinic and Pauh Health Clinic while Kangar Health Clinic involves service transfer to the Urban Transformation Centre Health Clinic (UTC); Kuala Perlis Health Clinic and Beseri Health Clinic.
Services of Titi Tinggi Health Clinic and Felda Mata Ayer Health Clinic are transferred to Padang Besar Health Clinic; Titi Tok Bandar Health Clinic (to Behor Lateh Health Clinic); Padang Melangit Health Clinic (to Beseri Health Clinic) as well as Abi Health Clinic and Bintong Health Clinic (to UTC Health Clinic).
