SEPANG, Oct 26 (Bernama) -- Teenager Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli has described his debut in the 2025 Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) as an opportunity to gain knowledge and improve his riding skills despite his Moto3 campaign coming to an early end due to a technical problem with his bike.
The 18-year-old said although his machine stalled after five laps of the 10-lap race at the Sepang International Circuit here today, the experience of battling with world-class riders, like Spain’s Jaume Masia, has given him motivation and confidence ahead of his first full Moto3 season next year.
“I’m thrilled to have raced with the top championship riders because they are all very fast. It was definitely an amazing experience for me,” he said after the race.
The race at SIC also served as a platform for him to learn techniques from world-class riders, adapt to the handling of a high-level race machine and build his self-confidence.
“I learned a lot, especially how they control the bike in such a high-level racing class. I will keep improving myself to be ready for next season,” he said.
Although a bit disappointed with how it panned out in his debut on a wildcard ticket, Hakim Danish said he still valued the experience of competing on the world stage.
Earlier, the team Aeon Credit SIC Racing MSI rider started from 12th position on the grid before working his way up to 11th spot, but was forces to quit after five laps due to technical issues.
