SEPANG, Oct 26 (Bernama) -- Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rider Jake Dixon stormed into the lead in the opening laps - and never looked back - as he won the Moto2 race of the 2025 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (GP) for his third triumph this season.
The 29-year-old British rider, who had also captured the GP of Argentina and GP of the Americas (both in March), returned to winning ways when he crossed the finish line in 23 minutes and 05.269 seconds (s) at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) here.
CFMOTO RCB Aspar Team rider David Alonso of Colombia came in second 2.035s behind, followed by Fantic Racing’s Barry Baltus (+2.745s) of Belgium in third place.
Meanwhile, Malaysia two wildcard entrants - Muhammad Helmi Azman and Azroy Hakeem Anuar of team Petronas MIE Racing RW - finished 23rd and 24th out of 30 riders.
